The dog by nature is not big consumers of herbs as is a horse or cow, but they still need the nutrients in a usable form as they always have needed to be replaced. Most domestic dogs rely on someone to feed them and in most cases they are being fed corn or rice. Some are lucky enough to get a food source which contains some real beef, lamb, or chicken, most of which are by products of undesirable meat sources such as barnyard fatalities. Many of these fatalities occur after having been injected with everything known to the chemical world.

RECOMMENDED USE: If the wound is fresh and moist, it will stimulate circulation and tissue growth by simply spinkling the dry poultice mix directly on the open wound and then wrapping with a vet wrap. Leave it covered in like manner for 12 hours and then remove the bandage and wipe clean with a clean cloth. Reapply the poultice powder and leave exposed to the open air for 12 hours. Continue this cycle until wound is completely healed. If wound is dry or scabbed over, you can make a poultice by mixing a small amount of water to a measured amount of the powder and applying the poultice directly to the wound and wrapping with a sweat bandage. This too should be done for 12 hours on and the 12 hours off with the dry powder put on the wound while the bandage is off. Keep on hand in your emergency kit for those emergencies.
